Europa-Park Resort Expands Accommodation Offerings

(eap) The Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort is currently expanding its accommodation capacity. The resort already includes six first-class themed hotels as well as the Camp Resort. Families and groups can stay overnight in tipi tents, log cabins, and covered wagons or pitch their caravans or tents at the adjacent Camping Resort. Equipped with dining options – such as the “Silver Lake Saloon” with its western atmosphere – modern sanitary facilities, campfire areas, and a nearby natural swimming lake, the Camp Resort offers a perfect getaway with direct access to the wide range of attractions at Europa-Park and Rulantica.

This season, capacity at the Camp Resort will be expanded further. By 2026, “Silver Lake City” will emerge as an authentic themed area “that allows guests to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of the legendary Wild West – a dedicated experiential zone with a complete western vibe,” explains Europa-Park owner Roland Mack. Currently, the offering is being expanded with 25 new “Western Houses.”

The vacation homes, known as Yukon Lodges, are produced by Dutch specialist Arcabo and were developed in collaboration with Europa-Park. Starting this spring, they will provide accommodations for four to six guests. The lodges come in two sizes – 45 or 54 square meters – and feature two or three bedrooms equipped with a TV, mini-refrigerator, and safe, as well as a spacious bathroom with a rain shower and stylish vanity. In the evenings, guests can relax on their private terrace in the western ambiance of “Silver Lake City.”

Rob Schell, Export Manager at Arcabo, expressed his enthusiasm for the new Western Houses: “After a period of intensive collaboration, we were able to present the first Yukon Lodge to Europa-Park representatives in December here at our production facilities in Nieuwleusen, Netherlands. The lodge was handed over to Roland and Ann-Kathrin Mack as well as Charles Botta. Arcabo manufactures the vacation homes using a production process inspired by the automotive industry. During a detailed tour, we explained the production process to our guests and finalized the design details,” Schell proudly stated.

The Western House log cabins, new caravan pitches, additional comfort pitches for caravans, an upgraded access road, and a new western street with a row of houses and a spacious square will significantly enhance the guest experience step by step. The centerpiece of the expansion is a new guesthouse in the style of the American West, which will open in 2026 with a capacity of over 100 rooms. To accommodate the increasing number of visitors, a total of 700 new parking spaces will be created as part of the construction.

With these extensive investments in infrastructure, Europa-Park aims to further emphasize its long-term vision: providing guests with unforgettable experiences in a unique atmosphere. The anticipation for an authentic Wild West adventure in Rust is already running high. ■
